This policy describes what personal information we gather, what we use it for and how we keep it safe whenever you browse https://luluthreads.com/, shop with us or contact our support team. Where we rely on your consent, for example for marketing emails or advertising cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our website, we may gather:

Order information you provide at checkout: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and payment details (payments are processed by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card number)
Information you share with us directly, for example when you send a support request

We use this information to:

Answer your questions and support you after your purchase
Protect our store and prevent fraud
Personalize your shopping experience
Email you about new arrivals and offers, only if you signed up for that

We only use your information when we have a legal basis for it: to carry out your order (our contract with you), because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our store, because the law requires it (for example for tax records), or because you gave your consent (marketing emails and advertising cookies).

We share your information only with partners we trust, such as:

Our supplier in China, which receives your name, shipping address and phone number to pack and ship your order
Shipping carriers and delivery partners
Technology and marketing providers, including Shopify

Your personal information is never sold to anyone for money. Under some US state privacy laws, passing data to advertising and analytics partners can still count as a “sale” or as “sharing”. Do Not Track

Because Novaro is based in the Netherlands, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) governs how we handle your information. If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) also gives you rights, such as the right to know which information we hold and the right to ask us to delete it. Residents of other US states with a consumer privacy law, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon and Texas, have similar rights and can use them the same way.

To use any of these rights, email support@luluthreads.com. We complete each request within 45 days, and using your rights never leads to different prices or service. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your identity first, and you can let an authorized agent make a request for you.

If we decline your request, we tell you why. You can appeal by replying to that email with the subject line “Privacy appeal”, and we answer an appeal within 45 days. If we turn down your appeal, you can contact the attorney general of your state. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children's Privacy

LuluThreads is meant for adult shoppers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age, and if we learn that we have received such information, we delete it right away.

International Data Transfers

If you live in the United States, please note that your information is also processed outside the United States: in the Netherlands, where Novaro is based, and in China, where our supplier packs and ships your order. Some partners, such as payment providers and technology platforms, may process or store it in other countries as well.

When that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place and that the transfer follows the data protection standards that apply.
